its been quite a while since i blog about anything yoga.

Well. Remember about my 2009′s resolution? To take yoga to a new level?

Today after class i was approach by the instructor,  Lingerto (according to him ,he’s the president of YOga Federation Msia. Got Such Thing? i tried to control myself from laughing when i hear him say that). The conversation was quite funny. At least to me it was.

M. Lingerto :: Hey.. you’re quite flexible! What’s your name?
Me :: Jenifer. errr.. okok lah. not really, there’s still a lot for me to learn
M. Lingerto :: I can see that you’re different. You have that Enthusiastic determination in you. Very flexible.

Me :: haha.. thanks. Am still learning, been a few years i practice yoga
M.Lingerto :: Have you ever consider teaching? I think you have the potential. I can see it in your eyes.
Me :: (TRYING EXTREMELY HARD NOT TO LAUGH.. lol.. seriously i almost choke) Thanks. I do have the intention of teaching, but i’m not that good yet. Plus it is quite expensive for teacher’s lesssons.
M.Lingerto :: Dont worry about that.. You know with the economy crisis and all.. I am starting the course by next month, give me your contact number, i will let you know more details about it.
Me :: Sure.
M:: Lingerto. Dont worry about it. Most classes are for 3 to 4 years but im trying to put everything up in 1 year. I am sourcing for potential teachers right now. I am only looking for serious people so if you’re up for it, you let me know.
Me :: OK.. sure. thanks  alot.

We chatted for quite a while. Hmm.. kinda exciting talking to the instructor like that. Few weeks back Edwin invited me for a Poolside Yoga and i declined his invitation. I dont know what got into me but all i had in mind at that time was to go home. how rude of me… bleh

Hmm.. Teaching Yoga eh. That’s something to ponder.

I learn a new pose today :D The mayurasana aka Peacock pose. :D

easy peasy :D

I realize that i get tired easily mid class everytime. I loose all my strength after all the salutations. I believe they are supposed to build the sequence rather than wearing me out. The last time im in YZ, i am stronger after mid class. The teachers at CF right now dont really have good timing to salutations. Kinda makes me feel like i have to choose for myself which way to follow.

But then again, i really do wanna take yoga to a new level this year. :) We’ll see.

-J
